Planning Music for your Wedding
Ceremony Section
Description
Suggested Repertoire
The Prelude
The Prelude is the music played 20 to 30 minutes
before your ceremony.  Your music selections will
set the mood for your wedding, whether it be
religious, elegant, ethnic, or romantic.  If your
wedding is in a church, your music should be
appropriate to permit guests to pray, reflect or have
light conversation.  Check with your officiant to see
if your choices of music are acceptable.

Does the Trio attend the wedding rehearsal?
Generally, it is unnecessary for the Trio to attend the rehearsal.  However, if necessary, the Trio will attend
the rehearsal for an additional fee.
On the day of the ceremony, it is beneficial to designate someone to give the signal to the trio when the
bridal party is ready for the Processional.  This will signal the Trio to finish the Prelude selection and begin
the chosen Processional pieces.  Please have your designated person introduce himself prior to the start of the
ceremony.
Does the Trio perform for outdoor weddings?
Yes, the Ambiance Trio will perform for an outdoor wedding, as weather permits.  Due to the nature of
woodwind instruments, the Trio requires that outdoor ceremonies provide adequate protection from
temperature extremes and precipitation,.  If you are planning an outdoor ceremony, please note that fact in
your contact information.
Will the Trio accompany a vocalist/another performer?

Yes, the Ambiance Trio will accompany another performer as part of the ceremony.  Generally, the trio
would discuss the arrangements, via email or telephone, prior to the ceremony date, and rehearse with the
performer prior to the ceremony.  If additional rehearsal time is needed, an additional fee will apply.  If you
are considering this option for your ceremony, please note this in your contact information.
Will the Trio perform other requested works/special arrangements?
Yes, the Ambiance Trio will perform works not listed on our Repertoire list, as well as special requests.
Many standard works not listed on our Repertoire list are readily available at no additional charge.  If you
desire a particular work for your ceremony, please note this fact in your contact information and the Trio will
work with you to design personalized music for your ceremony.
